Best & Worst fashion @ the Grammys!!

BEST

Y’all already knew…my girl Rihanna did it again. She lighted up the red carpet with a short and chic blue Zac Posen dress and Chopard jewels. Everything from the dress to the golden open toe shoes works for me. Her hair cut is still the bomb. Hell, even her hot pink nail polish works. She took a chance with the feathers at the bottom of the dress and it paid off…..Rihanna, can I be your friend?

Natasha Bedingfield (the english singer) is the picture of glamour in this rich purple Reem Acra gown.

In a Muraid Zuhar flowy gown and witha Mary Norton clutch, Carrie Underwood worked a glamorous look. The gown gives a very easy, brezzy, beautiful silhouette. She really has come a long way from American Idol.

Fergie kept it simple and classy opting for a light yellow Calvin Klein dress.  Although simple, the bias cut at the bottom adds some humph to the dree and lets us see these gorgeous golden stilettos she wore. Her jewelry, compliment of Cartier, put it all together.

It just seems that u cant go wrong with an Herve Leger bandage dress. (I will be making a post on those dresses later).

Alicia Keys dazzled the crowed during the show when she changed from the Giorgio Armani Prive gown she had on the red carpet, to this deep green Herve Leger number. Keep in mind that Alicia is bottom heavy, therefore, this dress works on her nicely. The dress hugs her curve in the right areas and flows after that, which elongates her and gives her a flowly silhouette. Talk about that sexy decolte……

WORST

I am not hating now…..

What can I say, Beyonce miss it this time. It’s the Grammys, not a pageant! Her Elie Saab silver beedded dress with blue tule at the bottom makes and her Lorraine Schwartz bracelet make her look like she has superpowers… The highlights in her hair with this color dress is off…What y’all think?

Nelly Furtado walked on the red carpet with a greecian style peacock blue Arthur Mendoca dress. Somehow, it doesn’t work. It took me a while to figure it out and I think it’s the fact that the whole outfit looks sloppy…. Her hair is a bit messy and the necklace is too big for her neck size (it would have worked better if she had a longer neck).  It’s the Grammysssssss attention to details……

  1. And like I said, Beyonce Makeup looked horrible!!!
    I don’t agree with you on Nelly Furtado dress, I actually LOVE IT on her!!!

  2. Carrie Underwood’s dress was fierce;
    Like Beyonce’s hair but the dress is completely wrong , top to bottom, front and back. To me, Beyonce always misses anyway;
    Nas and Kellis, this would’ve been wrong even at the Source Awards, let alone the Grammys;
    and Rihanna… What the Hell?
    Yes, Im happy now!

  3. Oh no Riri!!! I guess she just didn’t want Beyonce to fill too bad about her dress…lol…still she is still the best!

  4. Amayel, how the hell do u like Beyonce’s hair??? please explain…

  5. I didnt like her hair at first, but then when she performed with tina (how spectacular is this woman by the way, 60 something and still rockin it) her hair looked ok…So I think it’s the silver-ballerina-gone-crazy-dress that made it worst. But on its own, the hair wasn’t as bad.
    Bon let’s not hijack KRM’s blog!

  6. I agree with Amayel on B’s make-up. The hair, idn’t like it either, the obvious blond highlights messed up her complextion…
